What a wonderful end of the school year field trip! I was so proud of these students. Despite the cooler temperatures, wet, slick rocks and blustery June air, every one of them made it to to the pond- even those who had never hiked before! We even ventured along the Pond trail to the Elephant Head Trail and got a glimpse of the view over in Stowe. We met muddy terrain, a bit of rain and even snow, but made lasting memories. What a great day!

I will definitely miss this hardworking crew! But! I am also excited to say... HAPPY SUMMER EVERYONE! It is almost here and I wish you wonderfully active, sun filled days and restful nights. Catch the stars when you can and smile into the soft summer rain. Read on a blanket, play a math game and tell a story by a campfire. SAVOR EVERY MOMENT and PLEASE....Do NOT be strangers!
