Geo Bee Finalists!

I am so proud to say that the two finalists of the CES 2019 GeoBee were both from the fourth grade and the 4B class! We had four students take the preliminary test- incredible participation from the very start! I was so pleased with everyone's enthusiasm, support and encouragement around this geographic fact competition.

4B can ROUND Numbers!

In Unit 4, students were introduced to why we round and how to round numbers. We watched this little video clip to help us. By the end of our place value unit, 4Bers should be able to use place value understanding to round multi-digit whole numbers to any place.

-Mrs. B. and her family- Born as a youngest child in the family, I was an oldest child at heart, always wanting to be around children and teach! I've taught children in both public and private schools for almost 18 years. I love teaching and can't imagine doing anything else! My hope and dream each year is for the children in my class to feel loved, safe and comfortable so that they will take risks that help them learn and grow! May they all be lifelong learners, celebrating their mistakes and the power of the word "yet!"
